Hello All.........
Well recently i came across a Samsung Galaxy S II, which was a Korean make.
baring the model no. SKT Galaxy S2(SHW-M250S).




                      

The major disadvantages of this phone are:

1. The Firmware cannot be updated using SOFTWARE UPDATE utility available in settings.

2.It cannot be re-imaged with any other builds of android versions, but the Korean STOCK FIRMWARE which comes in-built having major problems when it is used in other countries.

3. The major problem in this model of SAMSUNG GALAXY S II is the SMS character length. After a certain amount of  characters are typed the Phone automatically changes the Text to a MMS Message.

STEPS TO INSTALL THE OFFICIAL ANDROID 4.0.4 FIRMWARE ON YOUR SAMSUNG GALAXY S II:

1. DOWNLOAD ODIN (any version) 

you can download ODIN From HERE

2. DOWNLOAD the above given FIMRWARE.

3. DOWNLOAD the SAMSUNG USB DRIVER from HERE

4. After the Samsung USB driver has installed open ODIN,

Connect your phone in the "DOWNLOAD MODE"

HOW TO? 

Hold POWER+HOME BUTTON+VOLUME DOWN button together hold until this screen appears

                                   

 
PRESS "VOLUME UP" to Continue.
When you will be in your download mode, connect your device to the Computer via USB data cable. As soon as the device is connected, the Odin will automatically recognize you device, which can be verified by the ID: COM section which turn yellow if device driver is installed 
correctly and it detect the device.

Then, go for PDA tab and select the file M250S_HOME_M250S.UG26.1655_CL906886_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5 file.

click on Start button for starting the update process , After the completion of the installation process, you device will reboot automatically
 and display a PASS Green message.

Disconnect your device from the Computer and reboot it in recovery mode. For that you must press and hold Home + Volume Up + Power keys together.

After getting into the stock recovery mode, you need to clear the data by choosing ‘wipe data/factory reset’, this you can confirm
by tapping ‘Yes’ on the next screen. 

Then, select the ‘+++Go Back+++’ > ‘Reboot System Now’ option to restart your Galaxy S II.
